No kids, so it is 2 not 1. You plus the immigrant you will sponsor. I believe look at the YTD which is gross income before tax comes out.

Yep, value for a household size of 2. They want to know your gross annual income (it'll be on your tax returns). For the I-134, they'll want to see pay stubs and a letter of employment of some nature, bank account statements etc. for evidence. More detail one what evidence you should include can be found in the I-134 instruction PDF: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-134instr.pdf%C2'>

Remember, when you come to do the Adjustment of Status after you marry and complete the I-864, you'll be needing tax returns/IRS receipts.

how much is it?? i look here http://aspe.hhs.gov/poverty/13poverty.cfm i dont have any kids so is my bracket in the 1? and also do i look at my paystub year to date or net???

Gross income must be 125% of $17,850 for a family of two in HI or $22,312.50. You can make up the difference with 3X the value in assets if a spouse is the beneficiary--otherwise it is 5X. The asset must be readily converted to cash and not cause a hardship if sold--i.e. the only car and the only home are usually excluded as usable assets.

Good luck,

Dave

In terms of not filing your tax because you were in the Philippines - well, you need to go and back file because being abroad is not a reason to not file. You're currently very late for your 2012 returns, so you're probably due a fine, but you should get those filed ASAP.

Manila will accept a joint sponsor for the I-134 on a case-by-case status.

Yes, it should be based on your current income. Collect the evidence as listed in the I-134 instructions. http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-134instr.pdf

Again, remember you need to go and file your 2012 tax returns.

There is not a "1" bracket, its starts at 2... you and who you are sponsoring.

Here is the guideline http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-864p.pdf

USEM requires your most recent tax return and W-2, which currently is your 2012 return.
