Multiple typos on beneficiary G-325A form

Hi All,

I'm just getting things started and was about the submit the first packet of forms when I discovered that in gathering info to fill out my foreign fiancée's G-325A form I recorded incorrectly three things: 1) Misspelled her mother's last name, 2) Misspelled part of her street address, and 3) Misspelled the first name of her ex-husband.

I filled the form out (not knowing these mistakes) and sent it to her electronically, she signed it, got it notarized, and sent it back to me snail mail.

Now my question is should I resend it to her with corrections (I now have copies of the divorce certificate and her birth certificate), simply correct the typos with white-out, or just submit it with mistakes? I've read that the G-325A isn't the most important document and that the I-129F is the critical one. I HAVE NOT sent anything in at this point, so I'm feeling like it's probably best to get a new version sent to her, resigned, re-notarized (although I've read this isn't actually necessary), and mailed from Algeria to the U.S. I feel like it's best to keep everything in order, but I hate to have my fiancée have to spend a lot of money to send me another copy via snail mail.

Make sure you will be sending the correct information filled on the forms coz it sure isnt easy to make the corrections when your almost at the finish line.

Have her send you the correct information, get this correctly written into your application forms... Goodluck!

Redo it correctly, have her sign it and mail the new one back. No notarization is required. Make sure you also get the signed letter of intent from her and a passport photo.

I agree with the others, have all your forms filled out completely and accurately the first time around and save yourselves the headache down the road or even possible denial because information does not match up. good luck
