I think Bloomberg's " Stop and Frisk " was more concerned with Hersey bars,3- liter soft drinks and possible large sums of untaxed money! I'm waiting on the " Gun control works! " crowd to comment next. Most likely a gun smuggled into New York because we know crime would not exist in this bastion of liberalism without outside influences!

Obama and the "justice" department are never too busy to defend the rights of their community to take what they want from who they want when they want.

They're just too busy to be concerned for dead babies and they're damn sure too busy to deal with the people who senselessly kill them.

He's busy scheduling honor ceremonies this week for the 1972 Miami Dolphins. That's a critical part of leadership. OH and he's busy with his "college affordability bus tour". Another critical, critical leadership activity. WAIT I know - he's busy suing Kansas, Georgia, and Texas over their voter ID laws (these states require someone to show a photo ID when they vote to make sure that the person whose name is checked off on the register is the person voting) It is critical to African-American voters that they not be ID'd because they have a civil right to be carried on a bus, for free, from voting place to voting place to vote over and over and states that prevent that to allow each voter a single vote are trampling on the civil rights of African Americans.

So yes you're right. He's rather busy. Protecting the rights of the African American community to violate voting laws is way more important than protecting babies from African American thugs.

A manhunt was underway Monday for the man who fatally shot a 16-month-old boy in his stroller on a Brooklyn street Sunday night, authorities said.

Antiq Hennis and his parents were a block from their home in the Brownsville section when witnesses said three or four shots were fired.

Local media, citing law enforcement sources and family members, reported that the child's father was the intended target, but that Antiq was shot in the head.

The child's father was unharmed but distraught after the bullets, a neighbor told the New York Daily News.

"He was screaming 'My baby got shot.' He was going crazy," said Gina Gamboa. "The baby was breathing, but his eyes were closed. It's crazy. They just will start shooting."

The New York Post reported that his father, Anthony Hennis, has a record of more than 20 arrests in New York and Pennsylvania for narcotics, weapons possession and other crimes. The Daily News said detectives believe the shooting was payback for an earlier dispute.

Antiq was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital, where he died just before 9 p.m.

Outside the hospital, a woman who said she was Antiq's godmother was shaking with grief, The New York Times reported. She said she had kissed him goodbye.

"Oh, God, he's so innocent," she said.

"He was very energetic, happy," said the child'd uncle, Chris Dobson. He said Antiq's parents, who hail from Trinidad, celebrated their son's first birthday in May.

"Tragedy happened," Dobson said. "It's just sad."

Bishop Willie Billops of the Church of Faith, Hope and Charity, who knows the boy's father, told the Post that he drove the parents to the hospital to identify the body of their only child.

"I'm outraged at the murder of a one-year-old baby," Billops said. "I grew up in this neighborhood and I've seen a lot - but this is the worst."

"The family is shocked and devastated," Councilman Charles Barron told the Daily News. "The child didn't even get a chance to start his life, and now it's over."

The father is or was an immigrant and has 20+ arrests for weapons and narcotics in 2 states. If immigration laws had been followed and enforced that baby's death could have been prevented! The father should have been deported years ago.
