Its almost a month now but no news from nvc as to if they got my file already

You need to call USCIS on Tuesday (they are closed monday) to see if your petition has been sent to NVC.

Or have you done that yet? And sometimes its been taking 4 to 8 weeks to get to NVC because they bundle the approved petitions and send together.

What l have noticed is that with CSC in the west coast and NVC in the east coast, it usually takes a while for files to travel across the country as it is sent by snail mail. This is diferent in the case of VSC which is in the east coast like NVC, so mails fo faster.

But you should call NVC most definitely on Teusday to find out if they received the file. Thay might have received it but have not yet entered it into their systsm.

Good luck!

In my opinion, NVC already knows the date of retrogression that's why they're giving out interviews for October. If ever, the retro will set back before your wife's priority date, even she passed her interview, her visa will be placed on hold until her priority date becomes current again.

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

Thanks for the reply, as i keep checking the visa bulletin predictions for the month of October it says that F2A will go to Nov 08 2012.. so if that happens than it will be above my wife's priority date which is 19th oct 2012 and in this case after passing her interview she will get her visa for sure. Am i right?

If this will be the case, I'm sure she will have her visa by then . Good luck!

Can you tell us about your timeline just for our future reference. thanks.
