How to proof indonesia marriage legal for US?

Dear beloved friends,

I was wondering if me and my fiancee could get marry in Indonesia (i am indonesian and my fiancee American). My parents want to see us married in here so i believe i need to obtain for k-3 visa. What do i need to proof again after he fiil-in the form I-130? We will marry under muslim law which make us to obtain book of marriage. Is that enough for evidence?

Any kind of answers will really appreciate it.

If the marriage is legal, the USA will recognize it for a CR1 visa path. (Don't bother with the K3, it's obsolete, takes just as much time, and is twice as expensive.)

However, like your profile says, if you're wanting to do a K1 visa you must be married in the USA.

In your profile said that you filed for K1 visa means as the above commenter said, you MUST get married in the US. If you want to get married in Indonesia, withdraw the K1 and file the CR-1. You need to think carefully if USCIS or Embassy finds out about your marriage then it will ruin everything.
