Attended Interview Today And Got my Visa in Passport Today "US Embassy South Africa" the best

I would like to thank all the VJ family for all the advises & supports from beginning to the end of my filing.

I got to the US embassy Johannesburg 12:30 pm today for my 1pm visa appointment, there were just 6 people for interview and it was easy and fast. everybody i met at the US embassy from the security staffs to check people in to the visa consular were nice and helpful. I attended the interview today and have my visa on my passport today, i only waited for 3 more hours watching the tv till i have my visa in hand

My finger print was fast, paper submission process was fast, and the interview was very easy and straight to the point

1 Who is filing for you?

2.Where and how did you meet?

3. Is this your first marriage?

4. When are you planing to leave for the United States?

5.What is your occupation? etc.

The Trick: Please bear this in mind: The embassy staff who will first take your finger print and obtain your visa fee will ask you the same questions twice to see if your answer will change, never extend your answer to avoid curiosity of the CO asking further question. Dont say what they dont ask you about... The CO who will finally make an oath for you will ask you the same set of question twice to see if these questions will contradict.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL YOUR PAPERS READY INCLUDING THE ONES YOU THINK YOU MIGHT NOT NEED AT THE EMBASSY BECAUSE DURING AN INTERACTION MIGHT BE REQUIRED YOU SHOW A PROVE FOR A SPECIFIC TOPIC.

KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE CONSULAR, THEY ARE PSYCHOLOGIST THEY ARE WATCHING YOUR ACTIONS. All these process i have been talking about does not last more than 3-5mins.

09/15/2012: Got Married
09/26/2012: Mailed I-130 from Nigeria( delayed by customs)
USCIS stage ( 66 days)
10/12/2012: NOA 1
12/17/2012: NOA 2 (case was transferred to NYC office 11/27/12)
NVC stage ( 20 days)
01/08/2013: Case # and IIN assigned ( file arrived NVC mail room 12/20/12)
01/09/2013: AOS invoiced and paid, DS-3032 emailed and mailed.
01/16/2013: IV invoiced &paid. AOS & IV mailed in one package(arrived 01/18).
01/28/2013: Case complete!!!
04/19/2013: Interview; APPROVED!!!!!
05/13/2013: POE; JFK

N-400: (3 months and 12 days)
