Your packet will be good to go since you are front loading .To answer your question ,It is ok to print pictures anyway you want to.

That being said,I only submitted 15 pics with our initial packet, We were able to bring an album and pictures printed on plain paper and on photo paper to the interview. The CO prompted by my fiance looked at all of them. Good Luck chica.

That should be fine. I printed out pictures in the same way, 4 to 5 per sheet on regular paper, each labeled as to who was in the picture and where it was taken. My photos had a date stamp on them. I tried to include pics taken with unmistakable landmarks in them such as the Chicago skyline. I had also read here on VJ that they wouId be impressed by photos taken with USC's family so I put in some of those as well. This was probable overkill, but since I had the photos anyway I included them. I-130 was approved with no problems.

If you have red flags, I would suggest sending more pictures. They will be returned to you after the interview. It doesn't matter how you submit them, printed on a paper or picture form, what matters is that you submit enough to support that you have met him, his family, friends and interacted with them on different occasions.

We submitted almost 80 pictures to USCIS and when my husband went to his interview they gave them all back to us. Make sure you name the people in your pictures, date it and where it was taken and who is who. Good luck!

They won't necessarily give anything back to you if you sent it to the USCIS. That is why you don't send original documents to the USCIS. Do not send them anything with the anticipation of getting it back IMHO. You were lucky and fortunate. :)

I never said you submitted originals. You submitted photos which you recieved back. You were lucky. I used the originals as an example. Read what I wrote and don't take it as I've bashed you in any way, shape, or form.

Do you like the way that reads better?

rofl.gif someone got up the wrong side of the bed today! I did not take anything the wrong way. Back to the topic which the member asked and I hope my suggestion was helpful. Have a better evening.

Such presumption. LOL. I was not the one who used capitals which indicates yelling. There is bold or underline or italics for emphasis on a forum. Just a little FYI. ;)

Advice as I gave is widely known to be the truth, you were fortunate to get anything back, if you wanted them or not. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

About the pictures.. in my original packet I had only 4 pictures.. one from my wedding day.. one of us as a family with my son and two in two different occasions in which we were with his family... but when I went to the interview I had a lot of pictures.. I included pictures in which my family was with my husband and pictures in which I was with my husbands family... The interviewer did not look at all the pictures but ask me if she could keep one of the pictures.. it was a picture of my mom and my father in law... I almost did not include that picture because it was a bit blurry... my father in law and my mom were taking and I took the picture without their knowledge.. it was a very "natural" picture... they were not posing for it... I am not saying that pictures in which people are posing are bad.. but in this specific picture you can tell that it was not staged... so I think that it is a great idea if possible to include pictures of both families interacting together.. GOOD LUCK

thank you all!

FreeByrd, remember you are dealing with Nigeria. Some of the members here who gave you advice are from other portals. Not saying they are not giving the correct info, all I am saying you are dealing with Nigeria/Lagos which is one of the hardest countries to get a visa from.

It is a different ballgame and you need to be prepared accordingly. I hope the info I provided will help you. Take care and best of luck!
