Casa Bocobo is great if you're on a budget AND expect to be treated like royalty. We prefer to stay in a better place and be treated like a normal person.

We'll be staying at the Bayview Park Hotel for 5 nights later this month. The cost is only P100 more for a much better room, in an undeniably better facility. Breakfast and other standard hotel amenities are also included in the price (not free). WiFi may or may not be included, but most of our time will be spent going out, busy doing other things, or sleeping anyway; we also have a broadband stick if we get desperate. And considering we wont have to pay taxi fare+tip to/from the embassy due to its close proximity, Bayview Park Hotel is a much value for us..

I'd explore other options before settling on Casa Bocobo for the seemingly low price.

Just my thought:

We tried several hotels in the vicinity of Roxas Boulevard. And for my own perspective i don't go a fancy and expensive hotel, since I consider my stay there not for pleasure but only to have a decent bed to sleep. I guess it depends on how we looks things over. I always think being practical most of my stay in Manila since I also consider the Trave cost also but when i eat i go for the best ... lol....

Bayview Park Hotel:

• no doubt about it, it is much bigger hotel with better facilities.
• Wifi NOT free
• Breakfast for me was not so good. When we tried not avail the non-breakfast room so that we can choose what we want to eat..... the choices for breakfast for me is very expensive but not worth the price. I don't mind paying but i want to be satisfied of what i paid for.

Casa Bocobo:

• I tried this hotel based on VJ'ers good reviews
• I was surprise that you are well treated even the hotel rates are inexpensive
• Food is good in reasonable price
• I noticed yesterday (Aug. 08) the place was crowded during lunch time and everyone looks happy and satisfied
• Maybe I am not expecting better facilities because of the cheaper rate but the rooms are pretty clean and acceptable

Based on my experience staying in the hotels local and international. I find some expensive hotel with inexperience/ not properly trained staff which is not acceptable. I think I am expecting more or expecting to be treated better because I am paying more. Where in Casa Bocobo is surprisingly has a cheap rate but every staff are accommodating, very polite and treat you so well.

Again it is only my point of view.

Isn't amazing how God put everything in place. When He is in control..... All things are possible.

I feel really great right now and can make plans now since i have a clearer picture what is ahead.

The Visa is the key for the bridge to open...... Now my Fiance needs to set his mind .... for the wedding plans.... lots of $$$$ to spent hahahaha ... America here i come

I wish that I am able to be with my fiance for his interview but it really sucks I cant because of my work schedule so I am just leaving everything to God that my fiance gets approved. CONGRATS again
