MY fiancée was approved at her interview Monday.Now a friend told her you need the nbi clearance nso birth certificate my divorce papers my tax transcripts and the cenomar to take the cfo seminar.The embassy kept all that stuff! If she has the visa and a picture id shouldn't that be enough to take the class?

CFO doesn't ask for the NBI (yet anyway), but it does what a copy of the NSO birth certificate (you should bring a few extras of the BC to the States also) and CENOMAR + , and from the USC they do want a copy of the BIO page of your passport, copy of your BC and copy of your divorce decree + do not need a copy of your tax transcript if you have a divorce decree - they just want "something" that shows you are single.

My NBI personal copy was given back to me. I made a colored copy most of my documents in hand like BC, Cenomar and NBI just in case the CFO pips will ask.

According to the reviews only some were asked but it is not required. I will be bringing the same documents as what I had when I was interview just to be ready to avoid delays. I will attend the the CFO seminar upon the receipt of my visa then off i go....
