Hi you guys, I posted earlier that my husband got his interview letter finally, and is scheduled to be interviewed the 22nd of this month!
We are very nervous but relieved that the day has finally come and don't want to mess things up.

I just wanted to clarify what docs he has to bring? It gives details in the packet of course but sometimes they are so unclear
that I always find myself needing to double check.

One page says this:

*** IMPORTANT *** Interview Reminders

================================================================================

· Applicants may need to bring an additional police certificate to the interview. If the following three items are all true, the applicant needs to bring an updated police certificate to the interview:

· He or she is more than 16 years old;

· He or she obtained a police certificate more than one year ago; and · He or she still lives in the country that issued the police certificate.

· Bring this interview letter to the medical exam. Bring this letter to the medical examination because the panel physician may need to review it before performing the examination.

· Bring updated Federal income tax information to the interview. If a sponsor filed an I-864 (Affidavit of Support) and provided the NVC with proof of an IRS Federal income tax extension in lieu of a Federal income tax return, bring the sponsor's most recent Federal income tax return to the visa interview.

-------------------------------------------------------

Ok, so basically he has to bring the same police certificate that he submitted already? He has to bring all the forms he previously submitted? I told him to bring those forms in a folder even if they are not required, just to be on the safe side.

Also, confused about where it tells him to bring the Federal Income Tax. Now, the Affidavit of Support was the form I had my friend (who is an engineer) fill out for us so he lent us his tax forms and filled out the form, since my job salary isn't very much. Do I send my husband the I-864 my friend filled out so he can bring it to the interview? I will have to mail him the whole packet oversees? :\ or can I just scan the filled out I-864 to him, but what about the last portion that my friend signed? Won't they know that's a copy ? since we already sent those before. I am very confused on this part and would really appreciate your help.

Please reply back soon as the interview date is just around the corner now! appreciate it so much.

for page 3 and page 4 - should be a list of stuff and a legend for what means' what.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Yes, of course we already submitted the wedding cert, police cert , all necessary docs and his DS 230...

but I just wanted to know if we bring all of this again? everything was accepted.

.
I really am not clear about him bring the Affidavit form that my friend filled out with his own tax docs. Do I send him a copy of that? The affidavit that I and my friend filled out?

The letter said :

Bring updated Federal income tax information to the interview. If a sponsor filed an I-864 (Affidavit of Support) and provided the NVC with proof of an IRS Federal income tax extension in lieu of a Federal income tax return, bring the sponsor's most recent Federal income tax return to the visa interview.

---------------------------------------------------------

This is what I am confused about. My friend (who is an engineer) is the sponsor, he filled out the Affidavit of Support form and lent his tax forms for my husbands case. I'm wondering, do I send my husband this form that my friend filled out and my friends tax forms to bring to the interview? Is that what they want?

I did send all of the AOS documents of course since that step comes before the interview letter...

But the interview letter came with a page that said this:

Bring updated Federal income tax information to the interview. If a sponsor filed an I-864 (Affidavit of Support) and provided the NVC with proof of an IRS Federal income tax extension in lieu of a Federal income tax return, bring the sponsor's most recent Federal income tax return to the visa interview.

---------------------

This is what I am confused about. Do I have to give my husband the form my friend (as the sponsor) filled out or just give my husband my friends most recent tax return??

Please note there are a lot of 'conditional' things in the interview letter - a lot of 'if/then/else' constructs.

I have a P4 up at

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/429728-my-nvc-electronic-processing-road/page-11#entry6398809

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/429728-my-nvc-electronic-processing-road/page-11#entry6398809

basically, if you already submitted things INTO NVC after 1 June 2013, then 'new stuff' isn't required for the interview on interview day.

For my P4 - page 3 and page 4 was troublesome, until the legend on page 3 was decoded for the document list on page 4.

I suggest you compare my p4 with your p4.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Darnell has made good points and listed excellent material. I always said take everything you submitted and more to prove your status to the IO.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.
