"On August 2, 2013, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance."

I JUST filed my I-129f on Monday, July 29, rec'd 1st NOA txt on Thursday, Aug 1st and now this txt above today?! This is all so new and I'm wondering what it may mean? Has anyone had experience with this as well? Thanks a million for any insight!! ;-)

I seems to happen to a lot of people not long after they receive their NoA1. I think it just something that happens when they log you in their system.
A while ago, you usually got that message shortly before receiving your NoA2, but it's not the case anymore.

Interview scheduled -2013/09/11

POE - 2013/09/20 (By car at Highgate/Vermont)

Did you have an alien number before you filed the 129-F?

There was another post within the last week where something similar happened.

No, didn't have anything as its our 1st time filing anything :-/ I'll go check out that post now. Thanks! I read a lot of them earlier before posting but none were rec'd so early in the process which sparked my curiosity of course ;-)

I believe they have changed the wording on a lot of the updates you receive from the USCIS. The wording has only made people more confused.

An A# is assigned to everyone going through the immigration process. Someone that will be applying for a K-1 visa has their A# assigned when the I-129F is being processed. The A# will appear near the foreign fiance(e)'s name on the NOA2 approval notice.

wow, you got CSC. Your so lucky.

Please keep in mind that some dates are only known after receipt of another document.
For example, the USPS Form 3811. The stamped receiving date was not know until the original Form 3811 was received on 07/13/2013 1:30 p/m CST.
