So me and my parents have some free international plane tickets we got a few months ago for not boarding a flight voluntarily, they have some restrictions like not valid to go to Brazil, Argentina or Europe. We don't want to use them to go to the US.

We've always wanted to go to Cuba so that's what we were thinking, it'd have to be next week, just 1 week before I have my plane ticket for the US.

My fiance just told me americans are not allowed to go to Cuba and there's a whole deal about it...I didn't know, so all I wanna know is if I go to Cuba will this affect my arrival at the US?

So right now you are just a citizen and passport holder from Columbia NOT an American citizen, so YOU are legally allowed to travel to Cuba... Your fiancé, a US citizen is not... It will not affect your entry to the USA. Enjoy...

I'm from Canada and I intend to go to Cuba for vacation. My fiance already sent the K-1 petition.

Does anyone have bad experience from traveling to Cuba while waiting for K-1 visa? or afterwards while trying to enter the country?

It is not against the law for Americans to travel to Cuba. It is against US law for Americans to spend money in or transfer assets to Cuba. It's a Treasury thing not an Immigration thing. It's an administrative penalty and less than a handful have actually been fined (two is the number most often referred to as known cases).
