Just got an update..interview scheduled for Jan 29,2014. :)

08/01/2013 : I-130, I-485 and I-765 sent.


08/07/2013: e-mail and text received from USCIS.


08/12/2013: received hard copy.


08/22/2013: received hard copy of biometrics for 09/06/2013.


09/06/2013: Biometrics done


09/11/2013: I-485 status changed to 'testing and Interview"


09/23/2013: Received text and email- EAD in production


09/27/2013: EAD card mailed.


09/30/2013: EAD card received. Still waiting for Interview date.


12/23/2013: Interview scheduled for January 29,2014. Waiting for hard copy.

Are you from Manhattan/Queens.... Is your local field office/interview location Manhattan as well?

My local office is Holtsville, Long Island and trying to guess if I will be subject to the same delay as NYC folks.... been in Testing and Interview for more than a month with no update as to when the interview is going to be.

09/09/2013 - Concurrent filing of I-130/I-485/I-765/I-131 sent via USPS.

09/11/2013 - Delivered to USCIS Chicago Lockbox

09/16/2013 - Acceptance Confirmation text messages (4) and emails (4).

09/17/2013 - Check cashed.

09/23/2013 - Four I-797C notice of action in mail.

09/23/2013 - I-130, I-765 and I-131 online status showing Initial Review. I-485 showing Acceptance.

09/26/2013 - I-797C for Biometrics notice. Appointment scheduled on 10/10

10/01/2013 - I-485 case status updated to RFE and the RFE notice mailed out.

10/08/2013 - RFE response mailed out.

10/10/2013 - I-485 case status changed to "RFE response review"

10/10/2013 - biometrics completed on scheduled date.

I am from Queens. I don't know about my local office yet. Waiting for the hard copy to see where I will have to go for the interview. I guess it might take upto 3 months to receive the date for Interview in NYC. Just guessing.

We're still waiting for the Houston office but we think we should get something in the next couple of weeks as we filed about 2 weeks after everyone else. I wish everyone a great 2014 and an awesome interview!

Hi All,

Good Luck to all who has received the interview date and also who are waiting for the interview date.

I have one question and I hope I could get an answer for it.

I had filed I-485 for my wife through my green card. When I was checking the I-485 form, I had my date of birth incorrect. The month is incorrect. All my wife information are correct in I-485. Will that affect our interview? I am planning to correct my date of birth and take the I-485 with me in the interview and tell the officer about it.

Any input and thoughts would be appreciated.
