What media outrage? No one is doing a free these two boys website. Also, if you paid attention, myself and Miss Penny pointed out a while ago this story stunk and the mother might be the guilty one, but guess what? No one paid attention, they just posted pics of the black teenagers and talked about how bad it was.

People jumped on this story months ago because it was two black thugs who shot an innocent baby in the face. The usual suspects here didn't care about facts or evidence. They were thugs, they listened to rap music, this was just "another day in the hood" for them.

Now there's evidence that the parents MIGHT have been involved and nobody cares about that either.

It compares perfectly. The same people that lamented that Zimmermann is owed the presumption of innocence despite his admittedly killing another denied that very presumption of innocence to the black youths who merely stood accused of a serious crime. They wanted both Zimmermann and these black youngsters to be spared a trial. Of course, they wanted Zimmermann to walk and the black youth to be strung up the nearest tree. All that was missing were the white hoods. I'm sure a few of them wear one when they post here.

Even her own daughter didn't believe it.

And yet the usual suspects here didn't question it. Her word was gospel and those black thugs were guilty.

When we look at the Zimmerman case and the Baby Santiago case side by side, what we see is how racism plays out in the United States. When a white hispanic man openly admitted to shooting and killing an unarmed black teenager, the public immediately jumped to his defense. On the other hand, when two black teenagers were accused of shooting and killing a white child, the public immediately cried out for their executions. Zimmerman was guilty, the two teens may very well be innocent, but public perceptions about these two cases shows that what matters most is the skin color of the accused killers.
