filing from Qatar

I am a US citizen. My husband and I just wed early this month in the Philippines. I just arrived in California while he resides in Qatar through an employer's visa. 1-Can we process his Immigration status to come to the U.S. from Qatar? 2-If so, is it the same process? or If not, how would we go about it? 3-Is it a faster process to file from Qatar vs. Philippines?

Yes, as long as he is legally resident in Quatar, he can do his medical and interview there. It won;t make it any faster or slower.

yes is the process. file for I-130 for him first and once approved, he can attend the interview in Qatar

i just read your post, although not necessarily faster. Qatar US consulate is very easy on interviewees i have heard.

also the IV unit is not that busy, so i would definitely say once your I 130 petition is approved..post NVC stages and interview scheduling might be slightly faster due to the fact that Qatar USEM is not that busy as PHI even in terms of the IV applicants.

there are hardly any IV applicants in Qatar.
