It looks like some questions regarding what is considered the last day of a woman's period.

Some women are having their medicals done very soon after their so called " Last Day"

What is considered the "Last Day" according to the medical examination people ?? How do they ask that question ??

Has anyone run into trouble answering the question ??

We are just trying to figure this one out.....there seems to be some confusion over this.

They only want you to do the physical one week after the last day...."so when is the last day" !!!

Input Please :-)

Cheers,

cjmc

Last day of period like last day of wearing pads or last day of the drop of blood.

When I had my medical they asked first day of period and last day of period, this was asked 4 or 5 times....also they would asked when's the last sex, when was the last time u saw ur fiancé...so be ready for the answers.

The count is supposed to begin on the first day of the last menstrual period. Day 11-14 is usually "one week after the last day of their period" for most women, and also coincides with the start of the fertility period. That is why they also ask about recent sexual contact.

We just kept it simple and waited for the Monday 2 weeks after the start of her lmp.

Ok....since we are on such a sensitive topic and we seem to be able to openly talk about such a thing.... I have another question....there seems to be a cultural difference between the Philippines and the US in using pads instead of "Tampons"

Through all this, I get the feeling that Filipina's seem to use pads and not "Tampons" for their monthly period, is this true ??

I would like my Fiance' to try and use "Tampons" because in our US culture, they seem to make that monthly chore go more smoothly, less messy and you can go swimming....

Hey ladies, jump in on this conversation and try and convince my Fiancé that it is ok to try this....maybe she will like it :-)

This should be interesting...... :-)

Cheers,

cjmc

Seriously tampon?! Haha just kidding :-P I myself wouldn't try that lol its uncomfortable.

Anyways back to the topic. I just want to clarify. So SLEC do count one week from the last day of your last period? I am still really confuse. My last day was Yesterday and I am already set on Thursday for medical but this is holding me because some says they might do gyne exam?

Please advice me if I will pursue on Thursday. I don't want to wait until next week as I want to have a few days gap before my interview and I can only make absences from my work Thursday or Fri because workload isn't heavy . my schedule interview is Aug 12
