Seriously tampon?! Haha just kidding :-P I myself wouldn't try that lol its uncomfortable.

Anyways back to the topic. I just want to clarify. So SLEC do count one week from the last day of your last period? I am still really confuse. My last day was Yesterday and I am already set on Thursday for medical but this is holding me because some says they might do gyne exam?

Please advice me if I will pursue on Thursday. I don't want to wait until next week as I want to have a few days gap before my interview and I can only make absences from my work Thursday or Fri because workload isn't heavy . my schedule interview is Aug 12

From what I understand and from all the reading I have done, you calculate your last day by adding 11-14 days from your first day of your last period, so we used 14 days just to be conservative and then you added the 7days.

So basically, you can have your physical 3 weeks after the first day of your last period.

They will do a gyne exam from what I understand....

Good luck, we have been struggling with this also....the definition of the "Last Day".....

Sometimes you have to lead the Filipinas by example.

If you want her to try it, You can try it yourself first for one day, think of it as an adventure.

it can't be any worse than eating balut.

it won't interfere with your swimming

and It will leave you feeling fresh and feminine.

someone at SLEC lied about her period. She actually still have her menstruation yesterday her last day according to her...but she answered differently when a nurse/doctor asked. And she passed the medical in one day too. sleepy.gif

"LOVE is a journey. We walk through life, found each other along the way and stayed inlove. And the best thing is being MARRIED to the person you love and accepting that the future will unfold itself while the two of you still bonded by the same word everybody called LOVE. A love that says "Let God be God"

Finally i understood what it meant when they ask you "When was your last menstruation".

They never ask when is your first day and last day of your menstruation.

They asked "When was your last menstruation", only based on my experienced (01-02 August). What i understood they want to make sure:

  • you are not pregnant (because of the immunization shots)-and no sexual contact atleast a month before med.....
  • you are not bleeding when you have your Physical Exam to avoid delays

Even after the Immunization shots, they will give you a piece of paper.

"PRE-VACCINATION NOTICE" it says "In connection with your application for US Immigrant visa, you are required by Immigration Law to receive age-appropriate and medically-indicated vaccines (which include live attenuated vaccines - Measle-Mumps-Rubella and/or Varicella). Pregnancy or possiblity of pregnancy is an absolute contraindication to the administration of the said vaccines. Vaccination anytme during pregnancy may result in your fetus/baby having major deformities. It is therefore adivised that you abstain form any activity resulting to possible pregnancy. Just to make this perfectly clear....Dahlia means that they will ask "When was the First Day of your last period " In her mind this means " When was your last period"

Oh well....enough of this.......dancin5hr.gif
