Just to let you know i spoke to a tier 2 officer .

She was very polite but as i am a late CSC March filer she cant issue a service request until 5 months are up.

She would only speak in detail to the USC but couldnt help any further apart from saying "everything looks good as you havent had an RFE yet ."

I have to say she was very friendly and I believe she would have helped further if she could.

I just received an email from TSC in response to the email the tier 2 rep sent on July 19. It says:

"On 07/06/2013, we approved your I129F however; due to a system glitch the system did not generate an Approval notice. We have submitted a request to have the Approval notice generated and mailed to the address on record."

To anyone that has been told by a USCIS rep that their petition was approved but a couple of weeks have gone by and you have not received your hard copy NOA2, my advice would be to call and either open a service request or ask the rep to send an email to the service center requesting that the notice be sent.

I will post an update when I receive my hard copy NOA2.

This is good news. Hopefully they realize a lot of cases were affected by this so called system glitch.now they know whats going on with this missing Approval notices.

I called two days in a row and was advised it was, in fact, approved and that an "approval notice" was ordered. They also advised it can take up to 30 days to receive the NOA2.

Yes it still shows this :

The I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

The tier 2 rep had stated that this is a system error but their records in fact indicate it was approved.

I hope you got the NOA2 this evening. I just got mine 15 minutes ago. I hope so. 2/3 of the ways in, I think.

Your email reads differently than mine:

Whereas yours says you've been shipped to DOS, things that make you go hmmmmm....

The tier 2 rep last week said he was sending an email to the TSC about this. He didn't call it a service request, but I did get an ID number that I could use to check the status when calling. So I can't say for sure if it was a service request or not. If you haven't received something about your approval yet, call USCIS tier 2 and either have them open a service request or send an email to the TSC to get your approval mailed.

Did you ever receive an actual "approval" prior to the message advising it was shipped?

The only 'approval' I received was in talking to a tier 2 rep. I was told it was approved, but until the website got updated last night, nothing else indicated my petition had been approved. Now I just need to get the hard copy in my hands :)

Ok so seems like the tier 2 rep emailed TSC (more than likely a service request) on 7/19 and then last night you get the updated status--I had them enter a service request on Tuesday so hopefully my case status will update next week--Im leaving for Barbados on 7/31 so I guess we shall seeeeee smile.png

My K-1 Journey:

06/24/2012: Met my soulmate while on vacation

02/06/13: Alien Number Changed

6/21/13: Case transferred to TSC
