The Journey Is Over - Now We Are In Hawaii TOGETHER

Thanks to everyone! I just woke up and my beautiful wife is already up. She is cleaning our house. (Ladies, don't worry I did not marry her to clean our house, okay? hahaha) I love her with all my heart and soul. And here's a hint to all the men out there. Apparently there is something called "dust?" that gathers in places around the home on surfaces, nooks and crannies. And here I thought I had gotten the whole house clean before I left to pick up my wife in the Philippines. hahaha We will both be praying for all of you asking GOD for his guidance over your journeys. Our 8 month journey seemed to take forever but thanks to folks like you and all the help and inspiration we got from VisaJourney it went relatively smoothly. I spent countless hours on VJ just reading and getting inspired by other peoples stories and successes. Trust me on this: It is worth the wait. I have never been happier. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME

Aloha Ke Akua

Congrats!

Hi David & Zoila,

I went to your story and noticed that you got married a day ahead of us. We were just late in our initial submission due to some papers that we need to accomplish then. We just got our NOA2 though last 16th July, guess that was the day of your flying together to Hawaii. My husband is from Oahu also and im here working in Thailand though we got married in The Phils.

Your story touched me with the turn-about of events especially with the attitude of the American Consul. I am wishing and hoping we get our approval soon and get over the most-awaited interview process. Right now, my husband and I as well as his family are lifting everything up to our Dear Lord that He moves mountain for me to get there should there be trials along the way.

Hope we could meet you both one day in Hawaii. Thank you for praying for us who hadn't gotten our approvals yet.

Till then. Aloha and Mabuhay!

Fond regards,

Boy&Bell

Boy&Bell,

You are very welcome and we will continue praying for you both. It would be really cool to meet you guys one day here in Hawaii. Keep in touch and let us know when you get here. Maybe one day we can all get together and have dinner. My wife made fast friends with two girls that were in line next to us at the embassy in Manila and they are all communicating daily now. They have also made it to America and find comfort in talking to each other. I guess it is the experience that we have all been thru or are going thru that brings us together. We all have something in common and that is what makes Visa Journey so helpful I think.

God Bless both of you and really keep in touch.

Aloha Ke Akua,

David & Zoila

Mahalo,

Ironic, I lived in Chicago as a child, moved to Maui with family in 1967, been here ever since. When did you live in Makawao?
