confused with aos part 5

just got an email from nvc saying that they they reviewed the case and met the minimum qualifications for a visa interview, but the aos has some incorrect information. so thats the part 5 # 8 which is the household size. i am petitioning for my wife.

so, i part 5 #1, i put one; #2 is one and #3 is also one, so total of 3. they were saying that it didint match the total of 1-7. i dont see whats wrong in here.

one more q, so when the interview is set, when can u have your medical? do u have to set that up urself, or theyll gonna give u a sched too?

It is only you and your wife, yes? Then that is a total of 2. The form says not to count anyone twice. Your wife is the person being sponsored. All the rest of the choices are under 'Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit' You do not put a 1 for a spouse there because she has already been counted as the person you ARE sponsoring in #1.

This form can also be used by those sponsoring someone other than a spouse. In those cases, they would need to enter a 1 in #3 if they are married.

you counted your wife twice, when your spouse is the beneficiary, you don't put her as spouse, that's only when you are filing for someone else other than your spouse

i forgot to mention that im also petitioning for our daughter but shes a seperate visa?

it also stated in the email that they will just bring the corrected aos on the day of the interview, does that mean that their case is completed?

Your daughter also needs to be on the AOS, your household size is 3. But they both need their own I-864 with supporting documents, even though you only pay the fee once.
