When you receive your visa, in the visa itself it will be indicated the expiration time and it is not related to the K1 application expiration time. I believe it is half a year if your medical has no classification and 3 months if your medical has some classification (like related to tb).

But if for some reason you dont receive visa before application K1 expiration date, then there are different opinions on that even from authorities. They say it should be automatically extended but just in case contact the embassy to make sure they do. I wish it not to be your case. The main thing is that you appear for your interview before the expiration date.

This is to the best of my knowledge. I hope it helps.

NOA2 is valid for 4 months..in your case, from May until Sept 9. Meaning, your fiance needs to have the interview before NOA2 expires. Once the visa is granted, it's valid for 6 months, meaning your fiance needs to fly to US within these 6 months.

The expiration date on your NOA2 means that you have to work on your visa before Sept. 9 or basically have an interview before Sept. 9. The NOA2 should be valid for 4 months.

After your NOA2 and your VISA has been issued, the VISA will be valid for another 6 months. Meaning you have to leave the Philippines in 6 months.
