You can leave at any time. You are not forced to be here while VAWA is pending. True, your application will be abandoned, but I don't get why you'd stay in this situation just to live in the US. Germany is cool.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

If i call the police like you said and i get him away like that and maybe he becomes stable like this. Is there any cash assistance of paying my rent?

Probably not if you both intend to live together.

You would most likely be offered a place at a women's shelter.

Redflower you posted a few months ago and i remember you got many advices. You have two options submit I-485 along with I-765 since you have a pending I-360 you will get a work permit and start working like everyone is doing or go to a shelter for victims of domestic violence.Your husband is bipolar and so bipolar people function properly. You said in the past he was diagnose bipolar. Being an abuser is one thing and being bipolar is completely different.I have 2 bipolar friends. They are lawyers and they are not abusing their spouses. You decided to excuse his behavior and unfortunetely you are suffering because of that. The abuse suffered is not your fault, but you are responsible to remove yourself of this situation. Vawa was created to help aliens who suffered abuse to gain status, and to help them to flee from abuse seeking shelter in some DV shelter, but you decided not to go.You want to get your green card through Vawa, but you still want to take care of your abuser, but Vawa was not created for that.
