Finally, got the text msg around 9pm. Our i-130, has been finally aproved! (TSC), now time for the i-485 smile.png

Congratulations....

Esp good to see some texas approvals. Mind adding your case details to July spreadsheet...let me know here your details or through the form (in my signature)...I shall add you.

04/12/2014 - Received transfer notice in mail stating file transferred from Nebraska to NBC Lee Summit, Montana (so disappointed as I thought it was at local office now).
04/14/2014- emailed Nebraska and scopscata to see what's going on with file due to conflicting info I've gotten and NBC doesn't even show processing I485.
04/14/2014- Got response from scopscata saying will look into email, forward to resolution team.
04/14/2014- I485 updated to "485 was transferred and is now being processed at USCIS office"
04/25/2014- Text message and case update online "testing and interview" stage.
05/06/2014- Text message and case update online with interview date of June 11, 2014.
06/05/2014-Notice sent by NYC acting district director/office that interview date is Aug 21, 2014.....??????????? No change online
06/11/2014 - Interview for AOS. I130 was already attached. Approved and got passport stamped. YAY. Thank God.
06/19/2014 - Case updated online with text and email saying new card mailed.....

06/21/2014-Condtional GC received along with welcome letter.

Hey everyone! i have a question. I am preparing the documents needed for the NVC process, and I am a bit confused with the i864 stuff. my brother in law (who I live with currently) is going to be a co sponsor.

questions 1: Does he need to file the i864 as joint sponsor number one? or does he do the i864a because I live with him? We wont be living with him for long once my husband gets here so what is better?

question 2: can I enter my expected annual income because i have only been working at this job for 6 months. Should i include a letter from work stating my expected annual income?

This stuff is so confusing!

From following the NVC thread, I can say the reply you'll get there will likely be:

Your brother in law fills out an I-864 as a co-sponsor. It's my understanding that the term 'household' reflects not who just currently lives in the same space, but who is filing taxes which include you... and I doubt he claims you as a dependent on his taxes or vice versa.

As for your income, current income is what you anticipate for this year using your current earnings and calculating what you will make for the entire year.

But please do feel free to ask the same questions in the NVC thread which is now your 'life line', and especially study the first 2 posts of the thread:

I think it would be a great idea since our thread seem to be deserted.

I started one this morning and just called it Nebraska Service Center, it was targeted to May, June and July filers stuck in NBSC.

Go ahead ans start tthread with the title you mentioned. I think it will catch some attention

I got approved tonight!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited and completely shocked!! shocked.gif

We were transferred to Texas on Jan 30 and I totally thought we'd wait at least a month.

I can't wait for the rest of you still waiting, to feel this excitement... may it come soon!!!
