Hi,

I got divorced with my ex husband after 5months we back in state. I'm holding the CR1 visa till may 2014. I understand that I have to file the ROC petition 90 days before may 2014. After 6months we got divorced I got married again with american guy.

My question right now what form/ petition I/my husband should file in order to change my sponsor. Because obviously now my new husband is my sponsor not my ex husband. I'm confused and don't know where to start.

Thank you.

You need to file to ROC now based on the divorce. You will need proof you entered the marriage in good faith.

Your original sponsor will remain your sponsor until you meet the requirements relieving him of this responsibility. There is no "transfer" of sponsorship.
