I'm helping my wife in Vietnam fill out the G-325A form and I have a couple questions.

1. For question "Applicants residence last five years. List present address first." She has maintained her birth address as her permanent address since she was born, but she also currently maintains a temporary address as well for the past 5 years where she goes to school, so would I put 'Present' on the 'to' column for both address?

2. For question "Applicant's last address outside the United States of more than 1 year." Which address would I list for my wife? Her permanent or temporary or both?

Thanks!

Obviously this information is for background checks with homeland security. I would not want to misrepresent the information. Just answer truthfully. List both addresses. The same is to be said for YOUR G-325A form as well. List all the places you have lived for the last 5 years even if you kept a permanent address. This is just my opinion here of course. Other's can share what they think.

I agree you need to list both. Is she registered as living in the temporary address (i.e. her HH book)? The reason I ask is the police check needs to cover all addresses at which she has lived since age 16. I am not an expert in VN law but my understanding is you need to register (ie HH book) your address with the local authorities. So...I wonder if she will have problems if she goes to get a police check for an address for which she has not registered.

I honestly don't know. Probably a good idea to ask around.
