Was the RFE something simple? That usually indicates your case is being processed. I have no idea how long it takes to get the police clearances you are talking about. The Hong Kong clearance my fiancee requires is not easy to get and requires documents only available after NOA2. If you can get the clearances now then I would do so. It will save you some time.

It looks like your case could be approved soon :) Get your police certificates now so it's one less thing to worry about. I don't know about Canada, but my UK one took a while to arrive.

I am a Jan 2013 filer & got RFE in mail 3 days back. I am yet to receive the hard copy. But even before that, I got my Police clearance Certificate from Muscat, Oman. Which do not have any expiry date. But I am waiting for NOA2 to get my PCC from India... where I am living presently.

The police certificates for Canada are good for a year so go ahead and get that one.

I'm not sure how long the one from the UK are good for but you can inquire in the UK forum.

Also if you're not living in the country it can take some time to get them. I think for the UK you have to send them a cashiers cheque and then they mail it to you if you're not in the UK.
