Thanks a lot!!!! I really appreciate it...... how long did it take before you got out of the airport???

The plane landed around 330pm.

Went through immigration, given no 1, packet was put in a folder, officer told to go get my bags and go thru customs, and to wait in the lil room, officer asked me to sign some form, went through customs and was told I could go. An airport staff helped push my cart (i had a ton of stuff!!) and I finally saw my husband at 515pm.

There was a LONG wait at the immigration lines, im not sure if I was supposed to wait at a different line, but the TSA staff told me to wait in the visitors line. Surprised to see they dont let families with children and pregnant women go first. I felt bad for the parents with kids, it was a pretty long wait.

FYI to everyone, while interviews are often scheduled on CASE COMPLETE date, they are also scheduled via PRIORITY DATE. So if someone filed Nov 2012 and you filed Jan 2013 but you have your case comp

Thanks for checking.Ok at people a PSA I need to do. I think we got a bit spoiled since January. Because honestly the 2nd week of the month was the usual interview scheduling. Like around now. But

Stevie B this is not true. You have said this before and its wrong. The embassy has no idea about us IR1/CR1 unless we are DCF or Expedite. NVC schedules for us okay not embassy. There is a calendar

Husband did great at interview. Visa will be bit delayed due to doing medical so close to interview but I feel like we are done the hard stuff!!

due to the SUPER FAST expedite request the NVC told me I should perform, our interview date is scheduled October 18th. A question: they want me the petitioner to bring my original birth cert and divorce decree. How can I do that when I already sent that to the NVC?

Arent they supposed to send the paperwork to the embassy? All the paperwork that I sent to the NVC they get sent to the embassy which will be doing our interview right?

Or do I need to perform circus tricks and take days off work to go and get yet another original of my birth cert and divorce decree?

January 17th I-130 Documents arrived Chicago Lockbox

January 22nd - Receipt

March 12th - Approved!!!! (Post Decision Activity) mailed me instructions today!
