If you are marry for 2 years or more at your point of entry meaning the date your husband enter the US he should receive a 10 year green card. So no need to AOS, good luck on your interview.

They normally don't send it it out the next minute. Y9ou call NVC and ask if they sent it. Usually waiting a couple of days then you can track once you get the date by going to NVC filers thread Post#1 has info on it.

Nope you sure don't. The date you POE is the date they go by. So make sure at interview you remind them or they may say do it at POE. Do not let them stamp your passport at POE unless its a IR1. Many CBP do not know I had a friend just go through this on Saturday.

One good thing about having your interviews in September is airline tickets drop tremendously after the summer. You guys save a lot of money on tickets. More money to spend on each other. That's always a good thing.

Well I am here with you dear. Not going no where.

Thank you much. I call NVC last friday did not get an interview date. I'm gonna call them tomorrow. I'm not surprise if the answer is still no. As a matter of fact 5 people from my country portal have their interviews in September although they are K-1 visa applicants and not spousal visa. So the embassy is up and running. It's just that for us, spousal visa we just have to wait they didn't really say why. I'm hoping the 3 of us here from VJ gets a September interview dates. As you can see Cambodia is at the top of the list. I'm hoping we don't have to wait any longer. 5 months of waiting for an interview is not fun. Just trying to keep myself busy sort of get your mind from thinking too much of it you know.

Just to note, you do not Adjust Status (AOS) ever on a CR1 or IR1 visa. What you are probably thinking of is ROC which is Removal of Conditions. If you are married for 2 or more years when the beneficiary enters the USA, they will receive a 10 year IR1 green card vs the 2 year CR1 green card. YAY, make sure you enter after your 2 year anniversary if it's so close and save yourself $590!!!

Just to note, you do not Adjust Status (AOS) ever on a CR1 or IR1 visa. What you are probably thinking of is ROC which is Removal of Conditions. If you are married for 2 or more years when the beneficiary enters the USA, they will receive a 10 year IR1 green card vs the 2 year CR1 green card. YAY, make sure you enter after your 2 year anniversary if it's so close and save yourself $590!!!

It's been along night. i believe i have trolled VJ and got all updates. was going to wait until another hour when i know NVC is closed but figure its so late many won't know. I am called literally on phone someone I know for Nigeria call all his numbers, text, BBM and left message for wife on Facebook. LOL Lord help me.
