When submitting a statement or form of support, what other documentation is expected to verify your income your income is not taxable? I understand at the interview they will require this information. However, my income is not taxed. My income is in the form of student aid, loans, grants, and work study. Are there other acceptable documentation to verify income.

Thank you for your help.

the financial aid office at your school should be able to generate a statement.

or the bursars office

or something... some other office at the university.

Guangzhou likes to see W-2 income - it's always an 'easy pass' when they can see that.

it's my understanding that student aid, loans, grants are not even viewed as income.

as a backup, I strongly suggest you seek a co-sponser , a human you know that DOES have W-2 income.

I am no expert just chiming in from all the research that I have been doing here on this site. You may want to consider a co-sponsor. I know from being in college that for of income is not really considered income even though many people live off of it. It is to pay for your tuition, books, credits, etc. I know those of more experience will also correct me if I am wrong.

The warmth of true friendship and the love that binds the hearts of husband and wife are a foretaste of heaven. God has ordained that there should be perfect love and perfect harmony between those who enter into the marriage relation. I see...it seems it is a path I will have to take. But how do I submitt a co-sponsor? The USCIS service line suggested I contact a private organization? Does anyone know of such an organization that assists with such matters? I have not found any.

uscis knows nothing about K-1 visas, sorry.

don't bother them, at all.

you have to fill out an I-134 as you are the primary sponser.

a co-sponser, some one you know, fills out a 2nd I-134.
