I asked my congressman to please check on my case because of the slowness in processing at the VSC. I got a response today:

From: Senator Marco Rubio (imailagent) <Casework@rubio.senate.gov>
Date: Tue, Jun 25, 2013 at 4:58 PM
Subject: From the Office of U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (Intranet Quorum IMA00294130)
To: alembic772@gmail.com

Dear Mr. Aurigemma,

Thank you for contacting my office for assistance. The officials at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Vermont Service Center (VSC) recently provided me with an interim report on your pending case. An officer of the agency informed a member of my staff that your file has been sent to a Field Office for completion of process.

My office will contact you when I receive any updates regarding your case. If you do not receive a notice by July 28, 2013, please contact Mercedes on my staff at (407) 254-2573 or toll-free for Florida residents at (866) 630-7106. Although I cannot guarantee a particular outcome, I will do my best to ensure you receive a fair and timely response.

Again, thank you for sharing your concerns with me and the opportunity to serve you. I am humbled by my responsibilities in the United States Senate, and I will continue to work on behalf of our state of Florida.

Sincerely,

Marco Rubio
United States Senator

So my question, what the heck is a field office???

- Jeff

Sorry, I don't know what that means for a K1 application.

I don't think that's normal though.

Perhaps pre-interview?

~ Moved from K-1 Process to K-1 Progress Reports ~

The online updates are telling people they were transferred to their local office. Local offices do not process the I-129F petitions. The cases have actually been transferred to the TSC.
