Explaining fantasy football to my Vietnamese fiance

Our skype session this morning was one of the funniest conversations we have had so far. I have been playing in a F.F. league for 6 years, I play against my father and several of my other family members and a few friends. So my fiance wants to be involved in everything that my family does and she asked me to explain how to play fantasy football. She has never seen a football game before, so I knew right away that the laughter would soon start to roll. I thought I did a pretty good job of explaining and I was fairly certain she had a good grasp of the concept...she told me I should draft David Beckham. "OK honey...I will try my best, maybe in the 6th or 7th round"

Soccer is not really my style...I tried watching it once when I was in the UK. The game lasted 3.5 hours and the final score was 1-0. SMH
