Hi guys i just called the USCIS today and follow up the approval notice on april 24, 2013 and i speak to the immigration officer (IO) she give me a confirmation# and the case it should be their by july 5.. hmmmp so it means the case was approval since april 24 still stock in the local field office? And confirm# whats that for? This is crazy...

confirmation # is the tracking # to use on the service request that you just filed.

you could, instead, get into the local office and inquire what's going on, via an infopass appointment.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

the confirmation number was for the service request

are you sure they said it should be at nvc by july 5 or you will receive your response to your service request by july 5.. two totally different things.... like big d sed.. infopass
