Do you have your AOS (affidavit of support) package and your DS-230 package ready so you can send in soon as you pay?

make sure you have all you need before you go or you will be stuck. July is fast coming and i am sure if not before you leave during your visit you will be sent to NVC and you want to move fast fast.

You are looking at 2 to 4 months at NVC from arrival to interview date so prepare now.

here is the NVC fliers thread read post #1 and #2 to get familiar if you don't know what need to be prepared ahead of time.

You can send mail to NVC from wherever read the ink i sent so you can see the flow of what you need to do.

What do you mean your employment letter last a month?

It is just a letter saying who you work for, your title, your salary or hourly wages and your yearly salary. How many hours you work and if you are full or part time. And you back it up with current paystub.

Police reports you never obtain until for some you get case# or when your DS-3032 is accepted. Because you never know how long you will get approval, how long it will take for your casefile to get to NVC and the wait. after NOA2 like i said you will be at NVC 2 to 4 months thats a long time.

But at least your AOS package should be all put together before you leave ordering all your tax transcripts, filing taxes if need be getting all your paper work together.

And also when you get to NVC after about a week you will start calling to get case# and you will be able to give them you and husbands emails address and this is how they will communicate with you so no need for snail mail.

well hope this all helps.

sometimes it is unavailable and after thirty mins.. there is one available..

I know it is totally frustrating

As tough as it may seem you just have to hang in there. Many of us have been in your situation. My noa2 came almost 7 months after I submitted application. It'll be here soon enough. The important thing is to make sure that they're working on it. Good luck.
