My husband did his interview last Monday (June 10th). How long is the normal wait for a letter for the oath, and then the oath itself.

Thanks

If you live in Chicago area then chances are high that you will get it very soon as I have heard that Chicago office does oath at least once in a week.

If you live out of Chicago, just like me, then you have to wait to have oath scheduled in your city. I filed my N-400 on September 2012, I did my interview in Chicago on March 2013 and I am inline for oath since 1st week of April. I have to wait until oath will be scheduled in my city.

Thanks formywife. I'm in Chicago. When I did mine 5 years ago it was 4 weeks between interview and oath. Seems like it might be longer these days.
