hello to all, its been awhile since i logged here. i have a questions, i am a green card holder and I am planning for my mother to apply a tourist visa next year. i am not sure what are the requirements that she needs to submit or we need to provide. She don't have a lot of property or money in the Philippines but the plan is for her not to spend any penny because we will be paying for everything. I know i read somewhere that she needs to submit documents & to prove that she will come back to PI.

I just want some advice if anyone here have the same scenario like us. We are planning to have a vacation next year and I really hope that she can come with us because she can't travel alone anymore because of her knee problem, plus she can't speak English well and having a hard time to understand English too. I just want her to see what kind of life we have here and to experience life in US even just for 2-3 months. By the way she is 62.

Your mother would need to show substantial ties to her home country to be able to obtain a tourist visa from the Philippines.

Day 407 (2/14/19) Oath ceremony in Dallas, TX
