CSC is well below their 5 month wait. This was probably going to happen sooner or later.

Actually it is bound to happen even if they were at or outside normal processing range. Historically all centers have always operated at a bing and purge type of cycling. So, while we at CSC can certainly hope and wish for fast processing of our applications, as anybody would, my fiancé and I are prepared for the worst and will be fine if there is another long CSC delay this year. After all, I started this process when CSC was still in their July 18th freeze.

"Hope for the best, prepare for the worst."

That being said, I still hope that such a slowdown hasn't starred today, nor will start until after an approval of my application. I do see that one RFE was sent out yesterday, so that does mean they were still working on new applications yesterday. Maybe it just so happened that not many VJers were worked on, or ones that bothered to update their timeline, which can happen from time to time. I'll wait to see how today and tomorrow play out.
