More guns than ever in this country, yet crime is down. Hard to explain. I'm sure the gun control folks will come up with a reason not related to guns. Although I guarantee if crime was going in the other direction, they would be blaming the guns. Anyway, it's good news. Maybe it's because all those baby-boomers finally got old and mellowed out.

This is specifically mentioned.

Yeah kids today are too lazy to commit violent crime. Maybe if they could snatch someones purse or rape someone remotely with their Iphone, we'd have a violent crime problem. Ahh the good ol days when you actually had to walk into a liquor store with a gun to get free money. Now you can just steal credit card numbers online.

Could be because incarceration is up 790% since 1980.

Not sure if the gun sales is related to crime or if NRA membership would be impacted by rate of crime.

Gun sales and NRA memberships are through the roof because the usual band of liberals who know nothing about guns, started the gun debate with all that ban ugly guns stuff, instead of sensible reform

Thank you Obama and Pelosi, you are the best gun salespeople in the world
