Sooooo frustrating

Hi Everybody,

I a US citizen, I filled three I-130 applications back in May 2012. one for my mom and two for my brothers.

I received the notification letter with the receipt number. since that time I did not hear from USCIS. So I decided to call them early last week to check.

I have been told that my case is pending. Also I received a letter about my mom's application saying: "our records show that your petition is currently pending adjudication. we regret that we are unable to provide you with a completion date for your petition. we apologize for the delay"

this is so frustrating, it s over a year and nothing is done. I don't know how the process works. if someone can chime in and shed some light that will be great.

Are you saying your mom;s case is still at USCIS, ie no NOA2 yet? That is unusual, parent cases normally take less than a year.

The brothers of course will take many, many more years.

Where is the home country of your mom and brothers? How old are your siblings?

what home country are you?

is that MSC? in your receipt no.? you should call them and follow up!

you can check online your status!! find the reciept number!! you will know what center is your papers...

Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.
