Hello everybody,

today I completed the ds-260 online

I just checked my Visa status at CEAC and it says READY

what does this READY mean ? ready for what lol

this was right under it

"Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. "

Thanks

I don't thinks so, I think they go by your proposed date of travel that you put on your pack #3

by the way in the pack #3 says fallow steps 3-7 and medical is in one of them steps, so I did mines already ;o)

I sent my pack 3 in on 31.10 and received just now my app. date via E-mai, so ony after 8 days dancin5hr.gif its next week already

@wortu :

My mistake was that i wrote on the letter by "propsed Travel Date" 1/10/14, and not ASAP. So , i guess they put my interviewappointment a little bid in the back for other Peoples , that need the appointment sooner as me . And with the Medical, i hope they will find it , because its since this July at the Consulate,..

You send ur Pack 3 on 11/5 , so its in the consulate arround the 11/7. so u should get ur Invitation letter within arround the 11/21

Filed: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Country: Germany
Timeline

For your German police certificates, did you guys just a certificate from your local police office, or did you send off for the certificate from the Federal Office of Justice? Also, where are the application forms? I haven't been able to find them on their website. Still waiting for a response from the Consulate. Thanks!

@williams.ae:

As a German Citizen i walked in in my Village Council , where im registered. They orderd it for me an Police Record (Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) by this Main Office in Bonn. So i have to pay 13€ at the Village Council. And this Office have send the Police Record direclty to my Home Adress, within 5 days.

This is the Link:

I dont know how it works for foreigners, then u live in Germany more as one year. If u have to go to the Policeoffice or u can use the council (Rathaus) where u life, also. But normaly you have to be registered , then u living here . So it should be the same procedure. But im not defenatly sure, sorry.

Police Record is only valid 6 months, from the date its issued, ...
