I am getting frustrated with this case. My fiance is an American who filed a k1 visa for a Cambodian way back 2009. Got approved but he had to cancel it because he, together with the USEM in Cambodia found out that the girl cheated and lied based on the DNA test of the baby she claimed to be his. The DNA was negative so he wrote the USEM Cambodia to cancel it and ban her. She had the child to another American, they found out that she is a hooker working in a pub. They replied to his request, they cancelled the petition and banned the Cambodian.

June 2011 my fiance and I met and had a relationship. I got pregnant and gave birth August 2012. Our baby is already an American citizen through CRBA and was granted with an American Passport rightaway. We filed our k1 petition April of 2013. Got the NOA1 last May 10. I am very nervous that we may be denied or delayed due to the previous case. I have heard from different filers that it may affect us same way as they got affected, delayed. Some are denied. Whatdo you think should we do about this situation? Will this previous k1 petiton affect us?

It may be delayed bc they will look into closer but not something that they wont do to ensure validity of the 4elationship and whatever is on paper. Just wait for it. You know that it is genuine and it is your effort to make the consul believe it either interview so he won't deny. It is not about the previous K¹. Besides, if you think about it the reason of the cancellation of the previous k1 was simulation of birth and your child is already a citizen. That makes your case more legit. :) hope things go well and just wait for now :)

I don't think the previous K-1 will have an adverse affect on this K-1, they may ask you more questions and look more closely but I believe all will be fine. IF your fiancé could attend the interview in THIS case I believe it would be a very good thing.

Pop down to the Philippine forum and say "Hi", good group there .
