From what I've heard, pertussis is the one they want to be within 2 years because they always worry about whooping cough outbreaks or something.

Okay so the point of this thread was about signing up for loomis and I still have no idea ####### i'm doing on this site and it's gotten to the point where i'm officially pissed off.

I have checked the button to register for courier services only.

And that's it.

nothing else happens.

I'm supposed to be picking a location to deliver to, am I not?

It's supposed to have some kind of letter for me to print and bring to interview, yet I see nothing of the sort.

Their website is not the most user friendly that’s for sure.

I had looked at it before to try and change our appointments and it said the next available was in 153 days. shocked.gif

Needless to say I didn’t do that and just spent the extra $1k to fly us to Toronto for our medicals last month and then we’ll got to the scheduled interview next month.

Then I had to go on and get the Loomis twice.

Was it just me or did the printouts not look very professional?

Agreed.

It basically just sorta looks like a screen shot.

First thought was 'this is it?!'

They don’t…look professional…that would be my interpretation of Niki’s post. tongue.png

and an amazingly correct interpretation it would be! :D

what news of getting an earlier interview date?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Received a novel email back yesterday from the consulate.

In short, please be advised, unless you're doing some kind of expedite, you cannot request another interview date via email.

You must use the CSC system and I could barely figure out how to register for loomis so you can imagine my attempts to reschedule an interview.

In short: Request denied.

Blergh!

Maybe the instructions that the K1 people use for scheduling their interviews would be useful?

probably, but a little too late know.

Hubby's medical is next wednesday so it's kinda short notice to try and get a sooner date even if I COULD get an earlier interview.

Then I would get medical back no earlier than friday.

I would have to have interview on the 2nd in order to guarantee visa back by 5th.

Leave on 7th for US.

OH WELL.
