Hello Everyone!

On April 23rd we were mailed our first RFE for a completed G325A form and DS Forms/I-693. The RFE was addressed to my wife (the applicant) and stated 'Submit a completed and signed form G325A if you are between the ages of 14 and 79'. She filled out an updated G325A and sent in an I-693 and they received it on May 6th.

A few minutes ago we just received a 2nd RFE in the mail addressed to my wife (applicant) which again stated submit a G-325A just like above. On the bottom of the RFE in handwriting it is specifically asking for the G-325A from myself the petitioner.

I could not find anywhere that stated the petitioner had to fill out a G325A for AOS from K1 visa. Did I miss something? Also in a couple spots the G325A asks for alien number. Do I leave that blank? Finally where it asks "This form is submitted in connection with application for" do i check the box "other" and write "in support of spouses I-485 application" or check the "status as permanent resident" box?

Thanks in advance.

Typically the USC spouse is not required to file another G-325A for AOS from a K-1, but in a couple instances, it has been asked for anyway. Not sure why. Just provide what they ask for. You have no A# so use N/A or None there. Try not to leave anything blank. As for the reason the form is submitted, Yes, I would check other and put 'Spouse's I-485 form to adjust status'

I know this happened to VJ member A&B, so maybe he will come along and let you know how he filled it out.

Thanks for the advice. You pretty much answered how I was going to fill out form. Funny how they want to background check someone who served in the military and still works with the military.
