When the romance wears off........?

It kinda has a ring of inevitability in most relationships.

Ya think? I don't. This mentality is self destructive. On that path of thinking, one would become a divorce statistic.

Plan for success, everyday.

If you live your life according to the self-help section of your local Borders, then you'll eventually be disappointed. When the inevitable happens, and the romance dies in a relationship, then comes the test of true mettle, and eventually the mature do win.

you find out that GREEN is her favorite color

as in:

Green-Card, (what she really wanted...)

Green-Money (what she took with her when she left...)

and

"grass is always GREENer" (why she decided to split...)

-- Dan, that been there, done that, even have the Green t-shirt to prove it guy

I say it's time to move on, Dan.

She did.

I don't waste my time reading up the opinions of self absorbed authors, seeking to get rich.

True learning comes directly from personal experience and hardship.

Through my travels around the globe, I have learned what is important in life. My Wife was beside me for a good piece of that.

This is the foundation of my statement. Not some bullshit from a book.

*little smile*

It's when romance becomes commitment with surprises that you know you have a mature love.
