Hi I worked at a warehouse as a record specialist under a temp agency for 5 months. I was let go yesterday because they were cutting down and I have a new job starting Tuesday under the same agency and same pay $10/hr. I didn't work much last year and I only got $100 from taxes because I was still schooling.. Am I fine..? I have my dad who will co-sponsor me if I need it and he supports up to 8 according to poverty guidelines.

So sorry. Sounds like your dad should be able to pull you through. Best of luck.

I would definitely try the co-sponsor route, as your situation doesn't bode well alone from what you have posted.

You shoudl be ok, though if it is only a temp job they may not like it.

I'd have the co-sponsor docs ready... USEM does sometimes allow co-sponsors when they are close family.

i should rephrase, good thing you have a new job, and that will be taken into account. I do think having a co-sponsor is a good idea though.
