slam.., would anyone suggest any kind of way to move my file.. every time i check on the website it shows the date i applied for the visa no change on the status just AP

any suggests???? please advice

and just to add, the chances of you being granted a visitor visa from Jordan with a pending I-130 are slim to none. In the eyes of the embassy you have immigrant intent, if they issue you a visitor visa they assume you will travel to the US and never leave and try to adjust status

More likely he posted in the wrong forum. He does say Visitors Visa, but he would have to be otherwise approved to get into AP.

No its a He.., and yes was told by CO im good for the visitor visa because he saw i have i130 pending but he put me on AP since 5th of jan.

And i posted in the correct forum as i applied for visitor visa after i submitted my i130 and made it clear to the consulate officer and provided him with my receipt number. Oh, and i did not apply from Jordan either as i was abroad in south africa working -- Anyway, Thanks for your input.

Hi Every One !

I was interviewed on 29th January 2013 in US Embassy Islamabad. Visa Officer took my passport and put into proceedings. On the site of CEAC my case was “PENDING” till one month. Later on it was updated as "NO STATUS". I sent 2 web based E-mails. In reply they said it is in Administrative Processing. Its 6th month is continued and no change happening in my case status.

Please guide me, is it normal duration or it is a matter of concern now ???????? I am bit depressed and worried now.

Please share your knowledge…………………………….
