confuse with advanced parole application

hi fellows!!!

I'm asking this on behalf of a friend, she is adjusting from a k1 visa. She sent her I485, I765 and her I131. She went to her biometrics appointment today but she was concern cause her biometric letter only said something about her i485 y I765 but not about her advance parole.

She asked about it to an USCIS an the worker told her she needed an extra appointment...I was like what? I think he is wrong. I didn't apply for my Advance parole back then but I thinks its weird what he said to her. She is very concern cause she wants to go to visit her family, and spend her mom's bday with her on july.

For those who applied for advance parole, can you clarify that for my friend?

No need to be concerned at all. AP doesn't actually need biometrics. It is normal to have your papers say just I-765 and I-485.

One of the reasons I stick around VJ is because I had this exact same panic, and I came here looking for answers, and I got really bad answers. People told me I should have known to specially ask for the I-131 to be included and all sorts of nonsense that caused me stress. I later figured out (after calling panicked for a Tier 2 person) that AP doesn't really need bio and everything was fine.

So, tell your friend all is well!

Thanks!!! She always wanted to be a part of vj but she doesn't speak english at all, and her hubby works a lot so he doesn't have time. Thanks harpa. Im tired of the uscis giving people so mix and wrong info.

I agree, I wondered the same thing, because the bio letter only had the case numers for AOS and EAD, but because it is a combo card, you dont really need an AP bio appointment as well.

That's true, but it was like that before the combo card too.
