Businesses have to offer coverage to every employee who works more than 30 hours per week. Some businesses have cut their employees’ hours, capping them at 29 hours per week to avoid paying for health insurance.

Some Democrats say that’s an unintended consequence of the mandate, and they’re open to fixing it — perhaps by raising the threshold for health benefits to 40 hours per week.

Obamacare, has many things that have absolutely nothing to do with healthcare... It should be completely repealed.!! it should be replaced with... Medicare for all.!! Include all American citizens in medicare.. charge a monthly premium.. and be done with it... The infrastructure is already in place... Ok, the claims examiners that work for private insurance companies will be unemployed... so give those people preference when hiring the additional staff that will be needed for the national medicare program.. my apologies to the multi-million dollar salaried CEO's of the private health companies..

the Democrats should have been more thoughtful when they wrote the bill... over 1000 pages..... They said this bill was their mandate from the people..... so.. people... so your plan is what,??? try to fix a program that had no business to be created in the first place.??.... be honest... Obamacare, is 100% born from the Democrats... Either they should have been more thoughtful in the beginning... or they should agree to scrap it now... The American electorate had many more issues to consider than just the PPACA, and a world of media white noise to distract their attention. On balance, the (slight) majority decided that President Obama was the lesser evil of the two choices available to them.

True. So have Boehner bring the following up for a vote: Implement Medicare For All as a replacement for Obamacare. They always talk about repeal and replace but they have yet to say what the replacement is. Make the replacement Medicare for All.
