Hi, this is my first post on VJ , Your advice/inputs will be highly appreciated!

i have questions regarding ds-230:

1. Q10 and 11: permanent address in USA where u intend to live? / Address in USA where u want ur permenant resident card mailed ?

my husband (US SPONSOR) lives at his grandmother house right now, we will have our own house soon, where i intend to live and my permanant resident card mailed when they will schedule an interview date

how should i answer this question? don't you think to have no adderss on the form before my interview may affect my visa ?

2. Q22 and 27: father's and mother's current address are the same as my address, there is no space room to mention the city/country do u think i may need to attach additionnal sheet for that or,it's not important since the address is the same as mine filled in enough space in Q13

if i need separate sheet , should i write it in hand and sign it or just create it with the additionnal informations on Word and then print it ? sorry i'm newbie

3.Q31a and 31b : i think i should answer NONE these both Q my US petitioner husband lives in usa he may accompagn me to usa or may not but he's not immigrant right?

4.Can I submit with my IV package CV/Resume - Work history since they ask questions on the form concerning professional experience /Schools ect?

5.should i fill out the form online using CAPITAL LETTERS?

Thank you

First of all congrats

About the first question u should put where ur husband lives now because u will know for sure that it will reach u. You can change the address later when you guys move in to ur new home

Second question yes attach a second paper with the full address on it and sign it

I didnt understand the third question !!!!

4.yes you can send them ur resume and a letter from ur employer about what you do and how long you have been working..

5.yes u should do it online but do not use capital letters

Peace & Much Love

Suggestion Q10,11 -you can fill in the address at your husband's grandmother, if you do not have your new home's address yet. This way, your documents can arrive safely at a proper address. Once you get the address, changes can be made later.

Q22,27 -Fill in father's and mother's address as much as you can with thte space provided or you may use (as above)

Q31a, b -You are right. NONE or N/A will do.

4. You may send if you wish but I personally do not think it is necessary. It seems that they only asked for professional associations to which you belong -naming the associations will do.

5. Capital letters not necessary.

Good luck!

Thank you Shayma , thank you dragonfy298

Yes i was thinking to put in Q10/11 where my husband lives now , and send the IV package to NVC , in my interview day i'll have new address just wanted to answer more clearly , don't you think better to answer Q10/11 as below ?:

Q10:permanent address in USA where u intend to live?

My husband current address is :xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx i'll provide in my interview day new address where i intend to live

telephone number xxxxxxx

Q11: Same as Item #10 i'll provide in my interview day the address where i want my permanent resident card mailed

Q22/27: i filled in the space provided as much as i can my parent's address but to write the city /country (Paris/france) there is no space ! just i was wondering why to attach separate sheet , just because missing (the city and country) the address is the same as Item#13 Certainly the city /country itself ?

i need to send IV package to my husband Tomorrow

Thank you , more help is appreciated !

Just fill in wherever he is now and then after you move to the USA you both inform the USCIS of your change of address.

Current address SHOULD include the city and country. Physcial address. Street number, street name, city, country. If you have to use a pen to write it in so that it fits, DO SO.

Remember you don't have to fill out any of this on a computer. If your penmanship is legible, then fill in the parts that don't fit when typing, with a pen. :) Perfectly acceptable to do so. Don't leave out information that is needed.

Just bring an updated Ds-230 to the interview. You don't need to mention it now. Also make sure you have the correct address after approval when you pay the new immigrant visa fee?
