As I've said before. I am trying to be careful now with our documents.
One of my RFE is a "Documentation of how we met"
I've been researching and there's no consistent way of doing this.
One says do it short the other were very detailed that it was a novel. Kinda.

So I've decided to put here what I have in mind. ( This is just the base. Not finish. I actually have nothing to put anymore. I have no idea anymore. My bran is blank.)

Anyone can add ideas to this?

I, (petitioner) and (beneficiary) met in the same High school in 2000 at Southern Rizal Institute, Philippines. We were always together since then. We went to the same college school and decided to live together in 2003. In 2006 I had to fly to USA and leave her at my dad's house.

Our last two years meeting includes

Aug- Sep 2011 - I flew back to Manila to meet her. (will insert picture of when he came, still in process in finding evidence for this trip.)

May 12- June 11, 2012 - I flew back to meet her for my Rest and Relaxation after being in deployment.
(will attach itineraries, pictures, receipts)

July 16- Aug 9, 2012 - Went back once more to proposed and got engaged with her on July 21,2012
(will attach itineraries, pictures, receipts)

Your statement is not too short, but your evidence is a little weak. If you can include boarding passes and a copy of the full passport ( noting which pages the entry and exit stamps are on), that would be much stronger than itineraries.

Oh... Yeah.. I forgot to put Passport stamps... yes. that is included..

We don't have boarding passes anymore and tickets unfortunately. My Fiancé has a habit of throwing everything while I was a pack rat.

So in short. We only have Passport stamps. :( and MAYBE a credit card history with the purchases of plane tickets and other things from Philippines.

Thank you! :)

I didn't have any boarding passes or ticket copies but did put the passport copies of the stamps showing the dates I was in PI. And a picture or two had a recognizable item in it. One was the Manila Ocean Park sign with both of us in the picture. Items like that with the passport stamp copies should do the trick. Along with the other items you have listed. All the best.

If this is for the I-129F, then I think they only want to make sure you meet the legal requirements - i.e. met in the previous 2 year time frame prior to filing the petition. I only wrote a short statement with the dates and places we were in her country and provided absolute proof of the dates and places - passport stamps, store receipt showing my name and credit card, hotel receipt and boarding pass with airport security date stamp. I think USCIS could care less about how you originally met - however the embassy may want to know and may ask about it in the interview. Good Luck!

To the OP. Yes, I think what you wrote adequately describes the circumstance of how you met and provides evidence that you have also met in person within the last 2 years. Be sure to write your names, dates and places on the back of the photos making sure that the dates line up with the dates of your passport stamps.

Good luck on your journey.

Don't forget to write on the pictures who is in them, where they were taken at and when.

YES. That's part of my plan too.

I had picture of my engagement party with people that I took an AFFIDAVIT FROM FRIENDS from.

We are very worried about this. We've been spending a lot of money here in Philippines rather than getting ourselves a house together in US. sad.png

We did several paragraphs and attached photos. Repeating what was already stated, double and triple check everything to avoid the RFE trail.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Still trying to confuse USCIS? It's OK to list all those within the two year meeting.....but ONLY send evidence for one of them, not all of them.

You don't get extra credit for meeting more than once, at this stage.....yes later at the interview, but not now.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!
