On January 29, 2014, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

Till now , I haven't heard anything from National Visa Center .

what does priority date means and how can I follow my case ??

Priority date : June 10, 2013

Congrats ,

Have you called NVC? I believe you have to call them in order to get your new case number and to know the current status of your case.

See for example http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/LingChe_NVC_ShortCut#At_NVC_.2F_The_Guide_to_Flying_through_NVC

Congrats to those that have been approved!

IR1 took 520 days....

I read from the NVC filers thread (http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/483206-nvc-filers-march-2014/)

that the line is a busy a lot, but you just have to keep on dialing again and again until you get through. Good luck!

Sam and Adel, it's worth sending an email to SCOPSSCATA@dhs.gov and OLUInquiries@dhs.gov (I sent mine to SCOPS, and Cc'd OLUI.)

Politely give them the dates and facts about how your case has been handled by USCIS. At the least, you'll get a case verification email from SCOPS.

Can you please give me an example as to what to write/include in the email please thanks

Update on my case, I had a RFE, turned out that they wanted

"a photocopy of the marriage certificate.... The document must include the date of registration and signature of the registrar"

Well, ours did have that but it was actually on the certificate which is no good. So they simply put the stamp on another sheet of paper, charged me $8 and thats all they could do. Lawyer said he's never been asked for this and suddenly rest of his cases are being asked for it (same county). Also next to me was a lady doing the same thing for her husband (in Germany)

Sent it in and they received it on the 5th... no word back yet.
